definitely a chance this year that Fleet Foxes could play. They've announced a couple US shows and think the new album is almost ready for release. I saw Robin Pecknold liked a comment on one of his Instagram pictures recently asking if he was playing Latitude and another about playing in Brighton when they next tour so there is definitely a chance they could stop by at End Of The Road!

For the record the new Foxygen album is brilliant I don't care what anyone thinks of their live act, when I eventually see them they're going to be phenomenal. Be very happy if that was at EotR! ;)

Saw them a couple of years ago ......  and they were bl**dy brilliant live :D .... He was pretty insane, the lot of them went at it hell for leather, and the trio of dancing girls/backing singers were wonderful

I have a weird feeling that Interpol and Wilco will both headline although Nels Cline is touring the US in August.

Nick Cave is a remote possibility but probably too big. And not meant to be doing festivals.

Father John Misty is surely guaranteed to headline due to Bella Union connection.

Like to see that supergroup play and bands like Grandaddy and Band Of Horses as garden headliners if that happens.

Real Estate, Ryley Walker, Hiss Golden Messenger on undercard be great too

i hope it's as early as possible as i'm living in the US at the mo. i don't want to wake up at 9am my time and it be 5pm UK time and i'll have missed all the excitement (and i'll probably wake up to messages spoiling the surprise, too).

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
