She played on the Park a few years back and it was enjoyable if not spectacular, but then she didn't have this incredible album in her catalogue back then so I'm guessing she will've upped her game this time 'round. Seeing her at Primavera myself which thankfully removes this clash for me but it certainly is a shitter (along with the rest of West Holts vs. everything else that day).

@FloorFilleryeh the more I think about it the more I wish I was going to Primavera again this year but sadly can't afford it this time around. Will be good to hear what you think of it, as well as those who go to Lovebox.

West Holts line up is looking incredible this year, was thinking that I'd happily go to any festival that just had the West Holts line up and nothing more. Problem is with such a good line up comes clashes almost every hour

edit: also congrats on getting tickets in the resale! Always good to see efestival's most faithful get tickets.

Idk I think they could avoid one another. It's The Avalanches who's set is being snowed under by The National's:

The National (19:00-20:15) > set up time (20:15-21:15) > Foo Fighters (21:15-23:45)

Solange (20:30-21:30) > set up time (21:30-22:15) > The Jacksons (22:15-23:45)

Not really anticipating a bumper set from the Jacksons with it being a festival set and they do medleys of their own songs anyway but if they do more than that then it'll start to clash.

Cheers  although the dizzying high of getting a Glastonbury ticket was soon muted by the fact that I also really can't afford both haha.

And yeah, the way WH is apparently shaping up this year I'd be happy to pay the full ticket price for it alone. Fingers crossed what dental has said is true and a clash between the two is avoided.

haha yeah I did the same last year, definitely worth it though!

I'd be much more happy to sack off The Avalanches for if it means I get to see all/most of The National and Solange!

I get what you mean but it seems a bit of a narrow view. If you haven't given Metronomy a go (they're about as 'dance' as New Order) then you might get something from that, Justice might be two guys behind mixers and stuff but their sound incorporates a helluva lot of classic rock. And even Kano and Boy Better Know are pretty far apart despite being under the same umbrella. Wouldn't write it all off in one go's all I'm saying.

Even those aside though, there'll be plenty on at the same time and your Sunday night can end well after that anyway.

I'd have expected George Ezra to be on at that time on the Other stage, going to go with him playing there or earlier on the Pyramid as I don't see any way in which he's third down on the Pyramid.

That's massively dire!, how is Glastonbury putting that as an Other headliner. They are lost in the light though, 100% need the dark though.

Yeah it's a confusing one, especially with many other acts on the bill that could fit that slot more appropriately (justice, the national, the flaming lips, even Chic)

I think the organizers are a bit overcompensating because as Neil said, they were a bit behind with the whole grime thing.

The only way there's any argument for them to headline Other stage is if Drake shows up and do a few songs during their set. But let's face it - that is highly unlikely

Think it's a great booking tbh. Glasto is shite at booking hip-hop in general so it's nice to see them give a grime act a big slot.

what some think is appropriate others will think isn't, for me of the bands you've mentioned only chic would turn my head. Diversity is massive at glasto and at the moment grime music is a growing genre! So why not give them there chance? I think it's great that they have got such a slot, will I watch them!? still unsure but I won't right it off until I see what the group I go with fancy.

Tbf there is no way The Flaming Lips or Chic would be headlining Other and Justice right now aren't big enough.

Tbf Glastonbury have mixed grime in the lineup for years now and there are festivals bettter based for it elsewhere similarly to other festivals that cater for genres stronger than others, it's what makes an interested punter buy a ticket for that fest.

Just so it's know that Ed is doing closer to 2hrs on his tour, 1hr 45 minimum so be prepared for his Glasto set to be longer than 1hr 30.

Was Adele not doing longer sets at her arena gigs too? I'm sure she was doing around 2 hours or so there and didn't get that at Glastonbury

Might have been billed as that but she only chucked two more songs in so 10 mins extra set maybe given how much she talks as well.

Given that Drake is pretty much bouncing round on Holiday since finishing the (88 date) tour and dropping the 'playlist' (the 4th full length in 25 months), i can see him popping up at Glasto.

Would be a bit of a waste mind, just to come on with BBK, do Gyalchester, Fake Love and KMT and that's that, but it wouldn't be surprising. And I guess if you're bothered about these sort of things, it would be pretty special for the festival to have two of the most successful artists in the world in 2017 performing simultaneously on different stages.

The last clashfinder posted is not too bad for myself. Most the stuff i miss i see at primavera ,  just a bit gutted about missing lorde as i will want to be at XX to get good position for radiohead (and i like XX).
