If Lorde is subbing Other, would there be sufficient time to leg it to the Pyramid and get a decent spot for Radiohead?

Doubt it. Radiohead will probably play for 2 hours and I'd expect Major Lazer to only play for like 75 mins, meaning Lorde would be finishing not long before Radiohead start.

Friday:
Pyramid: Radiohead / The xx / Royal Blood / Stormzy / Blossoms / Kris Kristofferson / Kate Tempest / Hacienda Classical
Other: Major Lazer / Lorde / The Flaming Lips / George Ezra / Circa Waves / Charli XCX / British Sea Power / The Coral / Elbow
West Holts: A Tribe Called Quest / Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals / Thundercat / Sampha / Tinariwen
John Peel: First Aid Kit / Future Islands / Halsey / Public Service Broadcasting / Declan McKenna / The Hunna / The Amazons / Cigarettes After Sex / Girl Ray / The Ramona Flowers
Park: Ride / Little Dragon / Mark Lanegan / Angel Olsen / Hamilton Leithauser / Margo Price / Whitney / Deep Throat Choir / The Lemon Twigs / The Parrots

I've tried and failed to make my picks from this several times but it's just ridiculous :(. Hopefully the likes of Angel Olsen, Thundercat, Sampha and Little Dragon will be on Saturday/Sunday. I've already made peace with having to miss FAK, Ride and Anderson .Paak.

Biggest qualm here is the order of Phoenix/Courteeners. Decided in the end that Phoenix vs Foos and Courteeners vs The National made way more sense than the other way around, and poster positions also suggest this (even though they aren't gospel).

Sooooo many clashes but that run of Lips, XX, Radiohead would be the best night at any festival ever in the entire history of festivals.

There's absolutely no way Liam Fray will agree to go on at the same time as The National. They're his favourite band.

I still think Small Bones could easily fit into any of The National's albums and not seem out of place. But yeah, as much as they're not similar bands I don't think they'll clash, can see Courteeners subbing Other anyway rather than third down again.

...Two Dancers remains one of my favourite ever albums and Limbo, Panto & Smother were ace too but my interest in WB has sadly waned massively since then though :(.

But I'll probably still be there for their Glastonbury set - especially if they're as low as some people have predicted.

they still play plenty off the 2nd and 3rd albums!

Give them another go : )

I know this is a prediction only thread, but a lot of thought goes into it and I can see it being largely accurate. If this is the case, I will without doubt have the worst clash headache in Paak v XX and RTJ v FF.

So with that in mind, I really hope this is all very wrong!

I almost hope RTJ get a rubbish daytime other stage slot to save me the headache.

Just had to get that off my chest!

Love this prediction. Few points I'd say though, feel free to tell me if I'm wrong

  • Rumours page has GEzra as being Friday Pyramid.
  • Don't think FJM will be pyramid, see other as more likely but granted it is looking very stacked on that day
  • Reckon King Gizzard would be a bit higher - Mac DeMarco's slot last year possibly
  • Not sure Jagwar Ma will play again so soon - Still same album tour iirc
  • Cant see Future Islands playing JP and not being headliner. I'd maybe give First Aid Kit an other stage slot to accommodate this, taking out someone like The Kills & doing tiny bit of reshuffle

The George Ezra info was 5:45 Pyramid, which would put him 3rd down (30 mins earlier than ZZ Top last year and I expect Radiohead to play 30 mins longer than Muse), which seems ludicrous and would mean Royal Blood were 4th down. So I'm guessing either the time or the stage is incorrect. 4th down Other would also be around 5:45 so I'm going with that. He played Pyramid last time, too, so a change to Other makes sense.

Agreed on FJM seeming more like an Other act but I moved him to Pyramid purely because my Other Stage was too stacked and he seemed the best fit to be moved to the Pyramid.

Dunno about King Gizzard tbf, don't know how big they are really. JP sub seems too high, though.

Fair on Jagwar Ma.

I originally had Future Islands down as JP headliners but moved them down due to the stacked-ness of the lineup. Don't think they're too big a deal to sub it tbh.

I was hoping for much more of that in their last album but they seemed to completely do away with it.

I know most of us have Ride headlining the Park but with there being quite a few possible JP headliners for that day already I could see Ride subbing the Park with Future Islands headlining it.

i really want future islands on a sunday in the john peel tent... please.

They're playing Nottingham on the Thursday and then have Glasto, Hurricane and Southside Fri-Sun. Seems very likely they'll do Glasto on the Friday before heading to Germany, as opposed to going back and forth.

Wasn't the comment they liked on FB to do with them headlining Park in the dark so they can use their strobes or something?

I think so yeah, was just putting it out there as a possibility as it's still pretty dark for Park subs anyway.

They did 2013 and 2014 on one album. Could easily see them doing 2016 and 2017 with 2 albums of material, they love touring.

If Friday is that rammed total nightmare, other than Whitney supposedly on other which might remove a clash, clashtastic! Great lineup though if we get that!

Just posted in the who's playing what day thread but since Stormzy's Saturday the George Ezra info makes more sense now. I still think the Circa Waves time is strange so maybe there's an extra band playing Other each day this year? Them being on at 18:10 doesn't really fit with the usual Other times so an extra band would move things along a bit.

Neil's timing for Ezra will surely still be off, but yeah him shoving Stormzy down to 5th didn't really feel right.

Fucking hell it looks stacked. Friday and Saturday are both gonna be nightmares.

Chuffed that the Flips playing 3rd down on the Other is becoming more of a thing now. Flips > Lorde/The xx > Radiohead looks absolutely awesome.

Fortunately there doesn't appear to be too many really horrible clashes. Saturday is utterly rammed, but The National aside everything is stuff that interests me a lot, but not too much to cause major clash headaches. Perfect situation really.
