You can "get down the SE Corner early to avoid the rush"

Nothing happening in a lot of empty venues, but at least the bar queues will be short.

Block 9 has it nailed this year. Can see Masters at Work being busy on the Friday (if we're right in putting them in the Sanchez slot).

But yeah, headliner please Park.

Oh are we thinking Masters at Work will clash with headliners? Shit.

They'll put them on at the same time as Lorde to control crowd sizes, if they're smart.

i dont think there is any chance of that. they will take 00-02 or 01-03. They are the headliners of the NYC downlow in a slot that block 9 themselves have openly appealed to them to take as a dream booking.

They absolutely will be given a headline slot at peak club hours.

I'll still try and get there earlyish. Proper tears when I underestimated the crowd for the Frankie Knuckles tribute at my first Glastonbury,

Ah yeah, that was a write off. We knew it would be busy, but holy shit.

same for me as well! yes you will need to be in and around the downlow well in advance of Masters at Work but in terms of the hours they play it will not be headliner clashing

Yeah the Friday is entire guess work from me. Hunee that night or Sunday would be ideal for me. Planning to get my moustache early on Thursday whatever.

Hunee is definitely in NYC on Friday. This was what I was concerned about - there's not enough space for him and MaW in terms of peak times really

Answered my question above :)

Still on for a Downlow Friday night then.

Aaah yeh, that was crazy...my first Glastonbury too!

I had no idea that Downlow was an indoor venue at that point - spent ages hanging round Genosys waiting for something to happen. Fool.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
    • Easily my favourite set of the day.
