Essentially the billed artists just take it in turns to perform songs with some chat in between. There's sometimes the odd collaboration.

I think I might find myself there for large parts of the festival. Leftfield has always been one of the main reasons why I wanted to go to Glastonbury so its great that this being my first year there is more than I would normally like to see there. The major problem is I'm imagining way too many clashes already.

I have been to the Leftfield every year just to lisen to the speakers for 1/2 an hour or so . Some have been really good.

The good thing is that the Leftfield tent is very central so wouldn't take you long to get to other stages from there. Often drop in on the way past en route to something else.

I strongly recommend Will Varley. I've been following him for a few years now and he's a charming songwriter and great performer. He's one of the few really decent lyricists still around too.

It is Billy Bragg plus two or three guests taking turns playing songs and telling stories.  It's an hour and a half long so everyone gets to play four songs or so.  Always great fun.  They don't play together generally, though Billy Bragg and Frank Turner did last year.

Yeah that's another reason why it seems so appealing as a stage.

Aye enjoyed the them in Avalon, hopefully they'll be elsewhere also.

Will hope to catch Will Varley there with SirWilliam of Braggfordshire.
