Bastille and Two Door Cinema Club are two bands announced for this years festival that don't have a new album out (we only know there is a new album on the shelf, but no release date) and I assume there are many more cases like this on this year's line up

I think both of them will at least have new songs out before glasto though but I suppose SFA headlined the park last year without any new material so it does happen.

Just noticed that image on site of avalon field is called "background". Background for line up maybe? Is it possible that they will still announce today? Otherwise they could have changed the site later ;p or maybe they just change it a week before the announcement to mess with us ;p

Probably a background to the missing ComingSoon.svg.

If the rest of the line up isn't out by tomorrow, Emily Eavis' pants will be on fire.

I hate to say it, but with this drip feeding of stages I sincerely doubt that we'll get the whole line-up before the end of the month.

Big poster is two weeks away I reckon. Going off the Thingy and last year's schedule, after The Common announces we'll have 5 more areas to go until the full line-up. Averaging about 3 a week, that's a little over 2 weeks until the full shebang.

This is the sort of stat quoting post I can fully get behind.

Yeah I think you're bang on with this prediction

As a rule, my boyfriend will not engage me in idle chit chat about when the line-up might come out or go on forums/rumour websites etc. He generally believes the line up will come when it comes and that's that. He has just sent me a text saying 'Glastonbury line up today :D.' I have no idea where he has got this information from or why he believes it, but I am going to take this as a sign that TODAY IS THE DAY!

Never mind. If anyone's standing by their beds it's time to stand down. He saw the Common's 'full line up tomorrow' tweet but didn't see the bottom line saying it was just the Common.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.
    • Just listed on Twickets
    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
