The Strypes were pretty good last year. Small crowd but hard to judge how popular they still are when playing a replacement slot. That and the massive crowd Frank Turner had, emptying the field sharpish didn't make it look good for them though.

Other headliner opposite Coldplay on the Sunday is the perfect slot tbh, especially as we seem to know New Order are headlining the Other on Saturday.

Kendrick subbed by BMTH opposite Coldplay subbed by Ellie Goulding. Perfect (not that I'd be anywhere near BMTH).

only just seen all this. i'd given up hope on Kendrick, and how the guys from Blossoms would know this its anybody's guess, but christ let this happen. i can totally buy that the BST exclusive is bollocks - now we just need something framing him at Glastonbury

Slaves on at the same time too who pulled a massive crowd, imagine quite a bit of crossover there too

Dub Pistols have a Festival TBA date on Friday June 24th. I imagine that'll be Glastonbury, that's the day they've played for the last 3 festivals. Probably on the Glade Stage again.

I love the TBA on the 10th and 12th..... Isle of Wight rather narrows it down.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
