Because I can't cope with compiling an album list (too difficult), I'll go with the track list everyone else is doing...

1. Identikit

2. Burn the Witch

3. The Numbers

4. Decks Dark

5. Daydreaming

6. Ful Stop

7. Present Tense

8. Tinker, Tailor...

9. Glass Eyes

10. True Love Waits

11. Desert Island Disk

(all subject to change)

I don't know if someone has metioned it yet but Holly Herndon will be there with them at the Roundhouse gigs

This is brilliant news! I was hoping she might play Glastonbury. And now she's on the road again, she well may, I guess.

I have never heard of her (them?), any recommendations? I wonder why Radiohead specifically chose her, I'm really curious to check out some stuff :)

Glitchy, awkward electronic artist (the music is awkward, not her!).

Have a listen to Platform (4AD).

14/15. Does that mean I'm trendy? :P

Also - weren't they called emoticons once upon a time?

I think they were yep.

i also got 14 - can't recall what 1 I got wrong though. Most of them were easy enough. Don't know about trendy though. Wouldnt even know what the current trend is!

'E 'oo dares wins, Rodney...

(I have no idea if you're even vaguely old enough to get that reference, Matt!)

Nah I got it. I haven't watched nearly as much Only Fools as I probably should have, mind

(I'm 21 :))

The King of Limbs

You didn't actually write the above but I just remembered I was supposed to come back to you with my thoughts on it;

I still couldn't really connect with it. I certainly enjoyed it more than I remember, especially the last four songs. I'd probably have given it a bit more time but then AMSP hit and it illustrated how much TKOL isn't my thing when it comes to Radiohead.

All that being said Codex is definitely in my top ten.

I have many, many issues with this list, but I'll keep them to myself for the moment.

Efestivals Radiohead Thread, do your worst;

It makes me physically sick to see Supercollider ranked that low...

Someone on atease claims to have spoken to one of the people behind the scenes at Madison Square Garden. They haven't been selling the two seating sections nearest the stage and no one can figure out why. This person asked and apparently was told it was because the stage set up was too big to allow for it.

Sounds like there could potentially be a few more people on stage than the five plus Clive set up of the last tour!

Chvrches now being mooted for 7pm. Does this mean there is a sub slot going free on The Other Stage or perhaps even New Order taking a sub slot. Freeing up an interesting space?

mentioned in the 'what day' thread but 7pm is the standard time bandsintown gives festival acts, so Chvrches will undoubtedly be on later and NO will definitely be on last

White vinyls have already started popping up on the bay...:(

Saw that. £50 each. Pathetic really.

on a side note that COS list is ridiculous. Jigsaw not even in top 50. They can fuck right off.

I bloody love Supercollider. Presumably it's a metaphor about love or global warming or such, but I prefer a straight reading. What happens in places like the LHC is almost magical, when taken at face value, it's a really beautiful song about the physics. I love the way it pulses - just so evocative.

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
