Surprised nobody has pointed this out but, WhatsApp relies on a Data connection.

I assume EE is better, but on Vodafone last year Data could best be described as.. inconsistent. I've heard people loudly cursing Three as well. No idea about o2.

...but can someone clarify what exactly this "rubbish person" thing is?

not seeing anything on ateaseweb/waste....

I'm inadvertantly guilty of starting the 'rubbish person' thing. It looks odd on here as Neil rightly has a block on the Twitter users name - the text in my post isn't there, which mucks yhe context - as it's probably the cheapest, shittest, lousiest Glastonbury twitter feed around.

I, and popular posters on here, have called the tit to account online before.

He / she just came out with a RH related tweet from nowhere today which raised some virtual eyebrows.

I'll stick a screenshot on my twitter account but won't sully this place with it. Then we're done. 'K? K.

That means back to where we were with likelihood of RH appearing?  that being Neil heard something from a good source, which now seems weak, and they're not on the lineup and efestivals lists them as a lowly (R) with no real confidence of anything happening?

Maybe still worth a whatsapp try - fail to prepare etc - should some news break it could make some people hugely happy.  My phone is too crap for whatsapp, but good luck!

thanks.

as said, glasto-w-at-ch is very helpful and informative. i'm fairly sure that response was just a joke though, I thought this "rubbish person" was some band insider on a radiohead site somewhere.

i thought that the chances of it being true were low, now i'm saying basically nil.

    • Seems like the most obvious choice. Surprised they havent played since 2019 either.
    • My review of All Together Now 26, it was a whopper. https://niallmcquaid.wordpress.com/2026/08/06/all-together-now-2026-festival-review/
    • Yep it was on my list, id have loved to have gone.
    • Am a relative amateur in the ticket/tech shenanigans and not part of a large group etc. but personally preferred the F5 bashing approach and got through twice in recent yrs (plenty when didn't, mind) - 2023 but it crashed on me at the final hurdle and then again in 2024 where I held my nerve when it crashed again and managed to get.  Think now I am committed to volunteering if doing festivals as that's close to my heart, so happy to help others when the time comes round.   The most impressive I've seen was bus sales in 2022 when 2 mates casually bagged tickets while in San Sebastian, on a phone inside the stadium during a Real Sociedad v Man Utd game!
    • I wouldn’t be surprised if it was £425.  If I recall there was a significant jump about 10 years ago and with the prices of gigs significantly inflating in the last couple of years I can see another big jump coming.
