Well if you insist...

Assuming a sub set is what? 12 songs? I'd guess 3 off the new album leaving 9 to play with. They'll want a few big crowd pleasers and one or two for the fans so my guess. In no particular order:

3 x new album

There There

Fake Plastic Trees

Optimistic

Reckoner

Karma Police

Paranoid Android

Pyramid Song (they'd have to)

Street Spirit

Idioteque

Swap Optimistic for National Anthem and for that is perfect. Does anyone know whether they still play Bones live?

I haven't seen a poster however (I did mention this in the headliner thread a while back) a friend of mine claims he has.

He said Muse and Coldplay were on it and was right although I had reservations as they were very heavily rumoured anyway.

He also said Adele's name was on it and whilst this was a long while ago again it's hard not to have reservations due to how heavily it was rumoured.

But he loves the festival as much as we all do and as an "older" gentleman I don't think he'd be lying to get bites out of people on an internet forum so I'm more inclined to believe him than to not.

He has said that Radiohead are on the poster which he has seen.

He's also given other names & gone as far as saying the running order but to me that doesn't add up as the first poster doesn't have that on.

Ask him if Years & Years were on there, with 'and' instead of an ampersand...

My last setlist obviously wasn't serious...I think 90 mins could mean a 14 song setlist. Trying to make this vaguely realistic too...they didn't play that much Bends on the last tour for example.

1. New song

2. Lotus Flower

3. Nude/Arpeggi

4. New song

5. There There

6. Reckoner

7. New song

8. New song

9. Planet Telex

10. Paranoid Android

11. New song

12. EEIRP

13. Idioteque

14. Karma Police

So, do we now have three pieces of evidence pointing to Radiohead?

  • Neil's original source, teller of the Park set and other non-Radiohead goodies once a year.
  • Something else Neil has heard in the last few days, suggesting it might be them. Presumably not strong, since it's not been mentioned since.
  • JoeyT's mate has seen a poster, with Radiohead on.

it's possible that there's a link of sorts between the 2nd and 3rd of those ... tho the 3rd is saying it stronger than I was told.

PS: the first is also slightly wrong. It's not once a year, it's less than once a year. He's not in touch every year.

I've just read back on joey's and other posts, and yep, 2 & 3 are from the same place, where it was told to me with far less certainty than joey is giving it.

When you same place, do you mean your sauce also claimed to have seen a line up poster?

no, I mean the info I got recently that was the first *other* bit of info suggesting RH might be playing, is )I'm pretty sure) info from the same place joey got it. What I was told I wouldn't put forwards in anything like as strong a way tho.

It would be an utter cop out if they played a new album only set, very arsey thing to do from any band particular one who must realise how many people are desperate to hear those classic tunes at Glastonbury again. Which is why I don't think they would.....Radiohead don't strike me as that much up own arsehole.....they aren't muse haha

I'm not too sure you know, I think it's well within the realms of possibility from them to do such a thing

I think it would depend on where they were - if they were doing a sort of 'unannounced' thing on a smaller stage then I wouldn't be surprised if it was a new album playthrough, however if it were on the Pyramid stage or anything else big then I'm sure they'd do a more traditional set.

reminds me of my highlight of 2014, which puts things in perspective a little  - I had never heard of this fella but I understand he's a local and plays every year, saw this about 1am in the teepee field, off my face - not sure I've ever felt so happy - this optimises all that is good about Glasto

So, there's a poster.  What I want to know is, when will we get to see it?   Any rumours on that @eFestivals ?

If Glasto have got 3 of the biggest acts in the world headlining, Foals subbing, Radiohead in a non headline slot, Jeff Lynne's ELO, Coachella headliners LCD Soundsystem on the 2nd Stage and James at 11am then this is already looking like a very strong lineup indeed.
