Are the current Other headliners 100% headlining? I could certainly see New Order, BMTH, maybe even LCD taking a step down, and I reckon it's more plausible that Radiohead would headline there than play before Adele on the pyramid. Put them on against her and crowds should be pretty split, draws away the casuals who'd moan at a current Radiohead set as well.

If they were to play any announced slot lower than atop Pyramid, headlining the Other against a bigger draw would be the dream - and it does seem more plausible than an Adele sub slot. Sadly it just does seem too set that the Other headliners will be the aforementioned.

Have you had info that Bring Me The Horizon are actually headlining the other? Suppose they could play above them, don't remember if anything specifically said they were headlining or not.

Loaded said it alongside an interview with them so I'd trust that to be true.

The only way I can see it is if LCD or New Order are moved to Pyramid Sub.

Which to me isn't that much of a weird idea.

Yeah that's true. The info on the Other headliners has been around for a bit so I suppose it could've been shuffled.

Could only see it being New Order that moves to Pyramid sub seeing as we've a decent idea Foals are subbing Friday and they're elsewhere Saturday, and I dunno if they'd move a big touring act like LCD Soundsystem's day.

I have no idea of touring Schedule, but my instinct was LCD. Only as neil said Saturday sub could be a foreign act as he has struggled to get info, but...

Muse vs Radiohead

Adele vs Radiohead

Option 2 in my opinion makes more sense. From a logistic point of view. I think MUSE's crowd would be much lower than normal. I don't think Adele's would be as effected.

I've said for years that I'm sure they're saving the next Pyramid headline set for their final ever gig.

if they're subbing, maybe that's their compromise for now?

I think in that case they might as well just headline it. They seem averse to playing the Pyramid at all,  and they also don't seem to wanna play in daylight as arcade fireman pointed out, so it's a weird compromise when it's something they don't wanna do compounded by something else they don't wanna do.

How long dId the libertines get last year?

70 mins. I reckon Radiohead would get a bit more though if they were announced. I can see them being billed as Special Guests and getting a slot length between that of a sub and headliner.

I appreciate this is a long shot, but I have a ticket for Saturday night May 28 and cannot go. If anyone has a ticket for Thursday (booked directly via Roudhouse), and would rather go Saturday please PM me and I will try and make a case to the Roundhouse to do a swap. Cheers

Here's a theory (I'm sure its been suggested already because we collectively seem to have floated every idea possible) ... the sound ordinances have been re-negotiated this year, and there will be a Thursday headliner.

That's the dream but I think we'd have heard something about that by now. Pretty big thing to keep up their sleeves for so long.

Maybe they're headlining William's Green on Thursday...? :P

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
