Fucks sake guys stop getting my hopes up guys, my obsession with this band is bad enough normally. Hope the rumours of UK dates are true cos that'd be perfect and save me having to go to Europe to see them - though of course even if they are I then have to hope that I actually get tickets. Be more nerve-racking than Glastonbury probably.

Few rumors tomorrow could be an announcement but then I've been here before and don't belive anything

About LP9 and not Glastonbury

Blue Dot Festival announce tomorrow. Could see Radiohead there at Jodrell Bank. They must know that whoever they have on will sell out, otherwise I doubt they would have left it this late to announce the line up.

A poster on in the Blue Dot thread has seen the line up and said a lot of people on here will like it.

2 + 2 = ???

That's a great shout. It's just the sort of thing I could see them doing.

...although on second thoughts I'm not sure where a new festival without any obvious big backing would be able to afford to book Radiohead. Still, registered for the pre sale just in case.

It's not new really. They have been putting gigs on there for ages. They used to be called Transmission. The place is fantastic for a gig.

It's not Radiohead unfortunately

Yeah but not allowed to spoilt the surprise

That's fair enough. Unfortunately I will miss the announcement as I am in work now till 7 am, so will be in bed.

I have pre registered just in case there is someone good on (I think The Charlatans would be a decent bet)

Do you know when tickets go on sale?

As Kaytee said it's definitely not Radiohead and its not the charlatans. I I wouldn't get your hopes up. I think I've been told the line up but I can only remember one of the headliners and another sticks in my mind.

Loads of little tidbits of info around the world are leaking through about potential dates, all supposedly on sale this week.

A Dutch tweeter (tweet now deleted) said that shows in the Netherlands are being announced at 4pm their time (3pm ours, morning in USA) so perhaps we'll get gig news then.

    • It's the photo that keeps on giving;
    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.
