Radiohead better headline Glastonbury or Bestival they are the only festivals I'm doing this year

also if they do neither and do a big UK my bank is gonna be broken

Can't see radiohead doing a full UK tour,  will.probably be Manchester and London like the last tour.

Before that tour they used to tour UK more extensively, and even other European countries got more a lot more love than the UK on that tour. So I think there's every chance we'd have something like a six venue UK tour this time round.

Why is in rainbows not on spotify?

Thom hates Spotify and as IR was self released they choose not to put it on.

Thinking of having a radiohead afternoon...

My instinct was to start with Hail to the theif....  but I might whack Ok Computer on. It has been a while.

I woke up this morning and put Airbag on straight away, now been watching this gig

It is on apple music if youre desperate to stream it in good quality. As far as im concerned theres not been a better album released in the last 10 years. Its just perfect from start to finish.

Edit: the xx and the suburbs are probably just as good

Here come the Radiohead lists again...

Never participated though so:

Up on the Ladder

Street Spirit

Jigsaw Falling into Place

Climbing up the Walls

Paranoid Android

That changes daily, that was so much harder than expected.  (That was in no order)

    • New Overmono album is... just good for me. Had high hopes which were later dashed a bit after listening to some of the singles but they brought me back around enough to appreciate some very nice work in there. https://music.apple.com/ie/album/pure-devotion/1894298100
    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
