Still a third Bestival headliner to be announced.

It would be a little weird if Radiohead are announced like next month, after they've been announcing festival dates like every day for the past week now. I think if they'd be announced it would be now. Major lazer though? I had no idea they were big enough

I'm with you. If Radiohead were playing they would have announced it this morning. There's so much buzz surrounding their tour dates and new album. Makes little sense to hold off announcing them.

Maybe Bestival have got Coldplay as an exclusive and they're waiting for the tickets for Coldplay's gigs to sell out before announcing.

That means the coast is clear for us to get Radiography!

I don't think there's any chance Coldplay aren't headlining Glastonbury this year. However Radiohead not headlining Bestival has upped the chances of them maybe headlining Glastonbury too. Now all we need is Muse to announce that they're the last Reading & Leeds headliner and then we're set.

Didn't you claim yesterday to have knowledge Radiohead were headlining Bestival?

I'm allowed to have a hunch ok! I never had any "inside knowledge" or anything

It's that word "definitely" that has ruined your credibility. You're as bad as Kidnap Kid :P

Yep you absolutely fucked it when you said 'definitely' - be more sensible in your claims in future Acid

maybe Muse are the 3rd Bestival headliner, and are holding it back until they've sold their own gigs.

maybe that's why Matt Bellamy mentioned playing Bestival last year, when it was actually for 2016?

That might not be impossible, they were definitely meant to play Bestival last year, but it fell through for some reason, I would say it's plausible they are the Sunday headliner to make up for it

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
