last year it was The Wailers in that slot - I don't remember them being at Glastonbury

They weren't, but there was a few names from Solstice crossed over to Glastonbury, hope remains

With that gap if it doesn't happen this year it may never happen again. It seems too obvious that they are playing now.

yeah this is definitely the final hope of them playing i'd have thought - touring Europe around the time, doing festivals, new album out. if it isn't this year when everything aligns so well then it's probably the case that they just don't want to do it again
