Looks like they've restructured the site because of the new activity.  FYI, the home page doesn't actually return a 404, although it does include the migraine inducing background!

They've hardly left a weekend free for Glastonbury though have they? You could have said so, if they had a full schedule with that weekend standing out like a sore thumb, but the dates are so far apart that its irrelevant really. You could say they have left dates open for IOW, TITP, Reading, Bestival etc, as much as you could Glastonbury. Straw clutching as usual when there's whispers that Radiohead might be active.

They can't do TITP as they are doing NOS and BBK.

They are in Japan a week before Reading/Leeds. Bands generally would want a little longer between such massive distance travelling.

I would have thought Bestival isn't big enough (may be wrong) - IOW I could see.

Definitely the best its looked in a while, but it just seems that they might have had the expected 3 headliners lined up for so long now that it might have been too late to get Radiohead, if Coldplay, Muse and Adele had either already signed up, or if they were keeping them waiting on an answer. It's still slightly possible obviously, but just seems there's been too many whispers for too long about them three, then there's Foo Fighters rumours to throw in the the mix as well. The lineup would have looked much stronger with Radiohead and Roses on it though. You could accept Adele, Muse or Coldplay then. Well you wouldn't give a toss would you?

Sorry I didn't check the dates properly. They could easily play Reading a week after Japan though (don't think they will). I was just making the point that at the minute, nothing can be read into not booking anything for Glastonbury weekend, when they have pretty much every major festival open to them at the minute in terms of free dates.

Nope, it's just the way it's fell. I'd bet that out of all the acts mentioned actually realistic that these aren't close.

Not necessarily, as pointed out many acts have done those Japan dates and returned back here after. There is at least 4 days break between them.

i think Glastonbury, Latitude and Bestival are the only realistic possibilities for them though (Glastonbury obviously being the more major of the three due to their past and apparent love of it)

It would be a real kick in the groin if they played Bestival and not Glastonbury. I just cant see them doing Latitude for some reason.

Other than "whispers" and newspaper articles they seem just as likely as anyone else to headline. They even make a helluva lot more sense than Muse.

Loved Pablo Honey, The Bends and parts of OK Computer but everything i've heard since, to me has just been 'noise'. Are they still being awkward and not playing anything from those albums?

Pablo Honey is terrible so the less from that the better. as for the other albums, they're both 20 years old, so you can't really blame them for not playing loads from them. on their last tour they seemed to play a maximum of 2/3 from each, but who knows what their new setlists will look like. i'd like a couple more from those albums, but they've changed as a band massively since then

I persevered each one until the end, yes. Not a patch in my opinion but each to their own of course. If I knew they would play at least 3-4 songs from those albums i'd probably watch them. I remember them playing the Market Tavern in Kidderminster and I was going to go to that for £2.50 but went to see Dodgy for £3.00 instead a few days later.
