Purely music...

Hot Chip

Lionel

Frank Turner

Bastille

Guns of Navarone

but as ever probably took as much/more enjoyment from the other bits...particularly:

Abandoman

Mexican Volares people

and all the other stuff in T&C + Cabaret

Tricky one. Saw 19 full sets this weekend and only really 2 were disappointing (Motorhead and Roy Ayers). I'll strain for a minute and come up with...

Hot Chip

Patti Smith

Lionel Richie

Father John Misty

Suede

Honourable mentions to Death Cab, Hobo Jones (I nearly wet myself when your man started 'playing the keyboard') and my biggest surprise, Mavis Staples

no i've not yet made it to the meet. i'm shy and nervous as hell around people i don't know so i'd probably just end up standing there all sheepish. maybe next year - i'll just get wrecked before i head over

You wouldn't have people asking what you're doing here lol, that was my 1st thought. Only talked to a few people mind. Neil was surprisingly okay towards me, I fully expected him to ignore and not talk at all.

top 5 is impossible, but nothing could beat the ridiculous friday run of bastille, jungle, run the jewels, libertines, super furries and then a whole mess of stuff in shangri-la, culminating with the new york brass band at 5am in hell and a trip to the stone circle til god knows what time... then laying in the sunshine through ibeyi, george ezra and the amazing burt Bacharach while feeling somewhat over emotional...

Kate Tempest - She absolutely killed it, im not sure I will see a better set this year

Run The Jewels - So much fun, they somehow beat my massive expectations

The Who - I dont remember a time I have had so much fun as that set, danced for the entire thing

Death Cab - Brilliant

The Cribs

Circus tent on Friday night would be up there though, that was great
