So which MLS team will JT end up at and is he more familiar with USA geography than Stevie G?

Clinging to the fact that they've left it open for the next manager to change the decision. Ridiculous getting rid of a club legend who's the captain and a regular starter. I've no idea what our board are thinking.

I think you're right that he'll head to the states if he does leave. However, he does like to gamble so a couple of years in China might help the finances.

Apparently we're getting a left back in on loan from Athletico, Guilherme Siqueira I know absolutely nothing about him, but at least it's finally a position we were desperate for.

Not at all happy with the Berahino rumours. Clearly a talent but also clearly got severe attitude problems. I also feel Mitrovic is worth persisting with to a degree, the service to him hasn't been great and his all round game has been fantastic lately. We need a striker but I'd prefer one who hasn't spent the last 8 months sulking.

I'm sure from my memory that Real Madrid nearly bought him once, but have lost track of him since. Berahino would be a gamble for the right price, I think the reported price is a little high at present.

Not gone through, he's moving to Valencia now.

Completely agree on Berahino, at the right price it's worth the gamble, but £21m is way too much over that.

Reports from a few places that we're getting Doumbia on loan from Roma. Much happier with that if it goes through.

Utd arent mental enough to give Giggs the job fulltime are they? From the assistant's chair he has presided over an awful period in their history.

there's rumours of fergie being his 'consultant'.

Which I think is more laughable than Giggs in charge.

Don't think any of that will happen. Giving Giggsie the job would be complete insanity and Fergie coming back in any capacity isn't a runner. Hes 75 this year.

My money is on Mourinho or Simeone. Although not sure why Simeone would leave. Flying high in the Champions League and 2nd in La Liga.

Supposedly Chelsea are trying to tempt Simeone over here, and I reckon you'd lose out to them too.

You're gonna get Jose.

And I'm going to spend the rest of eternity laughing. :P

May not be the worst thing. Short term. Almost guaranteed to bring the club back up the table, after a first season clear out. And then just get rid of him before the 3rd season meltdown!

Although if Inters current meltdown continues and they don't get Champions League Mancini will get sacked and Mourinho could end up there again.

What is it with Pep always taking the easy option. Can't be called the greatest manager around until he actually takes on a challenge. Every team he's managed has comfortably had the strongest squad in the country. Should have gone to Utd to rebuild

16th-19th in the table covering most of the big spending teams, very little business at the top end of the league.

Clearly Chelsea are also worried about the drop as well :P

Finding it harder to judge who'll go down now. A lot depends on how many of these new signings hit the ground running. Villa are completely gone but 2 from 5 with no team looking a cert either way. Personally I'm going to guess Swansea and Bournemouth but really not got much clue.

Have to disagree about Mitrovic. He's been handed plenty of chances and he's squandered them all.

Agree about his all round play, his hold up work is fantastic and if the officials at some point decide to start awarding him free kicks when he is being fouled then that would be great.

Doumbia has a great record, let's hope he is the man to see us safe.

We have one of the lowest shots attempted and chances created in the league. He's not had good scoring chances consistently.

I think Mitrovic pushing the boundaries of hold-up play into fouling in the first 5-8 games is counting against him to a degree. I feel he's definitely worth persisting with as a player, if he can add goals to his game and become a 1 in 3 striker he could be great for us for years.

Doumbia is a really exciting signing, at least for anyone who's played lots of FIFA/Football Manager!

    • You can judge who you want to get a high slot next with the Lolla headliner performances from the weekend. Cause people think Tate Mcrae is the best thing out there for some reason. And some other cool acts, plus you can laugh at how bad the camera work is cause disney is cheap.
    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
