Sad day when they felled Pangea, and then cruelly dismembered it in front of us 😢

I can only pray the Pyramid achieves some sort of protected monument status and doesn't suffer the same fate some day in the hopefully distant future 🤞

A brutal 5 mins that

Were you here last year for the controversy over the acceptability of comments on the sleeping habits of crew staying in cabins directly in view of the webcam?

We went next level in 2022.

🤣 I was lingering but I must have missed that! Top form

Due to the cam being out of action at this time last year, I had to go back to 2019 to see if the cars there today match with those at the time. They first appeared on 1st April in 2019, and the dress went on a few days later.

No red land rover, but that silver car is the same one, isn't it?

Telehandler scooping the pile of stones?

mini digger too! Now underneath pyramid…

Dumper truck of route too!

must be finishing the trench they concreted earlier on. Possibly tidying up.

So they'll be checking for weak points, rust, missing bolts etc?

Reckon just a general health check on the integrity of the structure before dressing it. I’m sure Michael will be there supervising!

I expect they have to survey and scan the metal structure on an annual basis to check for hairline cracks and internal corrosion, similar to what is done on fairground rides and rollercoasters.

Lots of vehicles today and the cherry picker is under the Pyramid - so looks like it's the annual check up for the Pyramid Stage!

Could be a friend who checks and signs off off each of the structure. He is no fan of the cherry picker

    • Go on then, who's going to win? I'm going for France...
    • They’re even making AdP craft beers now. Nice IPAs too.
    • I don't think a whole raft of attendees who've been going every year since the mid 90s and mid 10s collectively all thinking the festival is no longer for us suggests we've all aged out of it at the same time. Something fundamental has changed and its pretty obvious what that is. The fact that theyve managed to skinny down the line up so much AND STILL get punters in is a real credit to the bookers, filling it with enough of the current thing to get the kids excited for a weekend while pulling in enough big names to make it worth a day out for the casual Florence fan etc... is impresive. Re Leeds: Annecdotally, from videos, numbers have looked tiny vs Reading, esp on the camping end of things, it would be good to know the official numbers and how much they're down from the peak sell out years
    • Found it, it simply is at the toilets.
