As we have been looking at the lush green fields starting to be transformed for the festival, I thought I would remind myself what the end goal is.  Here is Thursday evening 2019, and seeing this compared to where we are now has certainly got my excitement levels up.

What am I supposed to do tomorrow… WORK?!?

Browse the best shots, check out the rumours page and create a personal clashfinder, search through long range weather forecasts and constantly check if the camera is back up.  You may however have to resort to doing work but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that

I am such a trusting person so I’ll take a chance! Can you not just nip down to the farm whilst on your run, unplug the camera power source then switch it back on? That’s the standard  method of fixing IT issues.

I'm not running with a ladder on m'back and I'm not tall enough. So that'll be a no.

Yeeeeeeesssss!  Just been out all afternoon and came back to find our precious camera up and running again. I therefore withdraw my threat to withhold paying my bbc licence fee. I reckon that threat was enough to get the bbc off their arses and fix it.

If for any reason it doesn’t work just ping me a message and I can help you get it running.  Should be pretty simple to set up though.  I made it about a month ago and figured it might be worth a share.

This is great mate, just set it up and it works perfectly. Thanks

Just a suggestion with this - you are using panodata2 - there are 2 links that aren't server specific, which might negate any issues down the line.

https://panodata.panomax.com/cams/879/recent_full.jpg
or
https://live-image.panomax.com/cams/879/recent_full.jpg

Using the straight panodata one when looking for archive images forwards you to the correct place they are stored - i.e. will forward to panodata7.

    • One thing that Burnham has been talking about is scrapping inheritance tax and replace it with a social care levy ... which would be less progressive, but might be a good idea if was a solution for the social care crisis. Would need to sell it well to a public who would prefer not to pay more tax.
    • Maybe you should put your name forward to be Burnham's chancellor.
    • But I think the point of that Dan Needle tax thing...we need to put up income tax, for all incomes (and thresholds should be unfrozen).
    • There are no easy answers...more than anything we need growth...and probably main ways of getting that is borrowing more to invest in stuff that makes us super sexy, and/or cut taxes on business and wealth generation which would mean less money to spend on public services and welfare and would obviously be super unpopular and get you chucked out of govt. On top of all that got an aging population, a growing welfare bill, a call for higher spending on defence, housing inequality, higher borrowing costs, and probably a load more sh*t on the way due to the Iran war (although so far it hasn't been that bad?)
    • A couple of OR's crew and band have posted Barcelona pics.   HYYPPPEEEEE
