I’m pretty sure el pointo got her dress on early in 2019 (possibly to accommodate an unrelated event).

I know this sounds silly but even with nothing going on, it’s just lovely to be able to see the farm in almost real time. Checking in on the land. Feels especially poignant being so far away.

As @crazyfool1 says, hopefully whatever’s going on is what they were waiting to do before switching it back on again.

Just had a skim through my photos, I visited on 23rd April 2016....and the field was bare (and el pointo wasn't dressed either!)

might be the reason why the webcam isnt working yet though ... and Emily saying it would be soon ...

not sure what you're expecting to see really, unless its for a headliner reveal...would a big TV production company be needed?

May just be the BBC shooting promo stuff.

IF they are doing something at the farm as per that twitter post they wont want people watching it all happen on the webcam .... whatever it is .... im just expecting the webcam to come back on after with a beautiful view of the pyramid frame in all her glory ... but no more

BBC Website still work though.

Maybe they are sorting out a new provider for the webcam?

I've just spent an hour digging through the panocam webpage source seeing if the link has changed, and sadly it seems like it's juts gone 😕

fingers crossed it pops back up though.

Got a horrible feeling it might not be until the BBC upgrade their mini-site for 2022, which IIRC doesn't happen until quite close to the event, meaning we'd miss out on the build. We've probably got another 4-6 weeks before that starts to happen.

So just about in time for any build to start appearing if I recall … really should check the thingy 😂

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
