I'm sure someone's done this before, but here's an edit of the map showing the rough direction and extent of the webcam view...

Anyone have any idea who we could moan to, about the webcam view? I mean, left a bit, down a bit, yep that's it, can't be too difficult can it?!

It started off like that, but they moved it. Some houses were being shown, presumably due to privacy concerns.

@bbcglasto is probably the place to tweet at, but a few if us tried to no avail. I doubt it will ever move significantly, frustrating as it is.

Confusingly upside-down.

Has the Beat Hotel been moved further to the right this year? There is a marquee going up that looks like it, but the other side of the trees to where it was in 2015

Is that the Beat Hotel or an EE chill & charge tent? Its deceptive, but thats roughly where EE were last year, along with the Vanity Van thing.

I did hear that the Beat had moved opposite where it has been recently - into the little bit between the trees where the logs and chippings were kept.

I think the EE stuff used to be further down that where the marquee is being built now - and believe some/all of that is being moved due to the JP relocation.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
