Love this time before the festival watching the webcam, so many changes which just adds to the excitement of getting there. Had my first Glasto dream last night, always the same one where I wake up on the Sunday thinking where did all that time go! But then I wake up and get excited that it hasn't happened yet :D

I have very similar dreams to that quite frequently, where I find myself wondering why I haven't seen any acts!

May 2016 added to the Glastonbury festival panorama:

We now have a whole year from may 2015. The movie is available here: https://www.glastotrip.org/pratique/webcam/

Thanks for sharing. Only difference I noticed so far is that the raising of the 'Other Stage' roof is 3/4 days earlier this year

Does anyone know what the white tents on the right of the Pyramid are for? Presumably some kind of VIP area

Storage for instruments and equipment etc I'd imagine

Wondered if it'd be the Greenpeace tent or is that gonna be further right?

Don't forget the festival is about 2 days earlier this year. Plus last year was the first year of the new other stage so that might have had some impact.

I wasted a lot of time watching the time lapse videos yesterday! Found myself watching the festival being taken down but found it all too much to take.

I have had that or variations on that too, always sunday night/monday morning and i've managed to miss the whole thing! Bizarrely the latest episode had a flying Michael Eavis involved

Good point, had forgotten about that.

Haha. It's always about waking up on the last day isn't it. Presumably because everyone is so excited/looking forward to it your subconscious gives you the worst dream/nightmare

    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
    • watching clips of the cure in Barcelona, wow 2 hours 25 minute set. That's gonna be tough on the Sunday but can't bloody wait for it
