You do have to question though, what could have been announced that was mind blowing? I'm a bit of a believer that unless it's someone massive like The Stones was or even Dolly most of the acts could be booked to play it. I think it's more unexpected than anything. Death Cab for me and been getting into Suede so them.

Great line up although headliners are poor. To be fair to foo fighters I thought they were good when I seen them at Reading but I was wasted

Ryan Adams is a stand-out, Belle and Sebastian will be great - caught them in a downpour in 2004 - seeing them in Glasgow next month as well.

Also Alabama shakes (amazing last time), father john Misty, Sharon Van Etten. Hot Chip, Super furry animals - amazing.

I caught Suede at Kendal calling last year - a bit of a surprise as well. And spiritualised are a good trip as well.

In the year I didn't get a ticket, Motorhead. Fckin Glast gods my arse. I always accept it's fairly mainstream but to miss Motorhead is ripping my fcin heart out

I think people are moaning as there is no 'WOW', but what it does have is some incredible good bookings there, infact, none of that is filler really is it? There's more excellent undercard, than ever before, and that for me, is brilliant!

I went and booked up for Rock Werchter, cause the thought of watching Glasto on TV would be like watching Brad Pitt make a move on my Mrs, but as things stand, I'm going to try this week

Red Day, I told you this a few weeks back or whenever it was, NOT TO DO IT! lol. And I don't even care for Motorhead.

Comes two something when the prospect of a top two Pyramid Sunday could be made WAY more bearable with Taylor as the special guest. Better still, a shock announcement of her as sub and Alt-J 3rd down (clutching very heavily)

I booked RW months ago. I'll be pissed off if Blur are Sunday as well. Went for Prodigy in 2009 cause I'd see Blur two weeks later at T, and then Coxon got food poisioning and they played a rushed hour set.

I book RW this year and they subsequently announce that god awful mumford shite.

Atr least I've got Download for comfort

Got my standard 6-10 acts that I have to see and another 30-40 I could quite happily bimble along to and enjoy depending on mood/location/state...

This is true, but no one act has me doing flips & picking my jaw off the floor. Bar yeezy

They seem to tour pretty much every year so quite easy to see them elsewhere.

Usually I would agree with this, but with their current health conditions likely to worsen, I reckon this could be one of the last chances to see them in the UK at a festival

this year for me there are 1 or 2 that i might try to make it to. a few i will probably see because friends are going but couldnt care less about, & a lot i will miss

i see maybe 3-4 full sets a year on average + loads of bits & bobs, & other than the stones for half hour from the back, have never seen a headliner on any of the main stages, its so easy to forget there are even stages there at glasto

i also to this day have no clue who arcade fire are

Undercard is unbelievably strong this year imo

As others have said strong line up, but without any stand out wow acts.

Bit disappointed Frank Turner and Vintage Trouble not there. Everyone seemed to think they were as good as confirmed and I wanted to see both. Hopefully they'll appear on full list later, but even if not there is definitely enough there to guarantee I'll have a good time anyhow.
