Jeff Buckley in Reading '94 and Glasto '94 probably the worse one for me. Grace has since become an all-time favourite and I never got to see him live. I missed Pavement at both those as well, probably because I was watching Terrorvision or something!

A friend of mine is constantly getting verbally abused (by me) for missing Bob Dylan at Glasto '98 to see.... Bentley Rhythm Ace. Admittedly a bad performance by Bob on the day, but still, Bentley Rhythm Ace?!

Of the 15 of us who went to Glasto in 2013, 2 of us went to Radiohead on the Saturday night, 12 went to Kasabian and one went to the tent in a complete mess.

2 out of 15 witnessed the greatest headline set ever (in my opinion).

The rest have never been allowed to forget it

I missed Iggy for Africa Express. Start a tough one, but I still think I made the right call there.

Yes! That was a heck of a night in retrospect.

Have to say tho Stu, the "Take over!/I can't take this bullshit anymore/Bring back the Wispa/No Fun" climax to Iggy is something I'll always regret no witnessing first hand.

My worst has to be not being arsed to move after Nick Cave and watching Mumfords with a friend of mine who was keen on seeing them.

'Ah it's okay, I'll just have to see Bobby Womack at one of his shows in the future' :( Was gutted when I saw he'd passed on whilst waiting for Daptone at WH last year.

EDIT: Most of the other regrets I've rectified by going to the acts' own shows (minus maybe Flaming Lips and QOTSA), but that one wasn't a good moment for me.

I often wake up screaming in a film of cold sweat when my subconscious remembers I missed 'that' Flaming Lips set for Gorillaz.

Walked past them playing on my way to Groove Armada which was rammed then on to Gorrilaz, the tiny bit of the light show I caught was prob the best I've seen. Choices eh!

1st year I went, remains the stand out moment for me ever since. Sorry and all that :)

I know I can beat anything on here.

I missed David Bowie for The Bluetones!

its one of those things I shouldn't even admit to. It gets harder to understand how I did it as the years pass, but I can only say that I have genuinely never been a massive fan of Bowie, and I did really love The Bluetones 'at the time'. The thing is as you look back - The Bluetones???? Really??? How the hell???

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
