I've just realised although everyone knew they were gonna play, they didn't announce V until February but announced T close to the Heaton Park announcement so that has no bearing at all.

Pretty sure Coldplay did both in 2011 so it isn't out of the question, can't see anything saying exclusives.. not that that matters anymore anyway

The saviours of modern music that are Mumford and Sons also did both back in 2013, in case you forgot!

Fucking hell another year of wondering if it's gonna be the Roses or not, although it looks pretty promising this time. Not that bothered myself, but it'd be a hell of a lot more exciting than some of the stuff being banded about at the moment. Wonder if this is a farewell tour then, a new album or if they're just gonna tour the same shit again

If it doesn't happen this year it'll probably never happen.

I doubt they'll do V, their crowd at Chelmsford was tiny, half the size of Example. It's just not that sort of crowd anymore. 

That leaves G, IOW, BST and R&L...

I'd say there's as good a chance as any.

T in the Park and Glastonbury "shared" headliners in 2007 (Arctic Monkeys, The Killers), 2008 (The Verve), 2009 (Blur), 2010 (Muse), 2011 (Coldplay, Beyonce) and 2013 (Mumford & Sons) so it's not completely out of the question. I'm very much hoping that the Roses play personally

That's not relevant for festivals really. Plenty of Scots at glastonbury.

Won't be BST and even then it wouldn't rule out Glastonbury. IOW is a bit recent but probably not impossible (they repeated KOL in three years) but if you're right and V are an unlikely contender then I would agree Glasto and R+L will be scrapping for 'em.

No way they'd do Reading after last time. It all looks good for Glastonbury  I hope, would be made up.

Fantastic news. Can't understand the delay in the new album but will be saved for another day between ticket day and the gigs it seems. A nice Glastonbury sized hole in those dates too. Won't think twice about trying for Manchester tickets though! Another stressful ticket sale is upon me!

I don't get that attitude. I can't stand city but that's football, I'm getting another chance to see one of my favourite bands of all time, not really concerned where they're playing
