Transport links are shite up there anyway, so unless you live nearby expect to be driving (barring an overnight stay).

Yeah it's pretty far for you guys. The roads are horrible too, all windy and a lot of stop-start if you're unlucky. It usually takes us 3 hours to get from Wrexham to Cardiff, so 3-3 and a half hours sounds about right. Definitely don't do it on the train unless you're staying over.

That's why, there's no trains leaving the station at all after 10pm.

The trains are actually quite good, I think you can actually hope on a direct train which should take anything between 3 and 4 hours. If you're staying over, get the train.

Hmmmmm. What do people reckon of the chances for more gigs later in the year? I could make Blackpool or Rhyl but on week nights if there's a chance of a tour I'd rather not. I wish we knew for sure but that horrible venue is in the way of that
