Here are all the days on the 06Z run. Definite downgrade in the latest runs I'm afraid. Now a threat of some rain on the Weds and Thurs and a weakening of the high pressure on Friday. And a much wetter Sunday with rain overnight and light rain during the day until tea time.

Weds: Dry, though slight threat of rain has appeared to the north later afternoon/early evening. Very, very light nothing of concern). Pressure a tad lower than earlier. Max temp still 20.

Thurs: Again, the threat of rain has now appeared, though at the moment should be north of Glastonbury and there's not much to it. Pressure a tad lower than earlier, max temp down a degree to 22.

Fri: Very, very minimal rainfall if any at all. But once again there is the big band of rain which is hitting Northern Ireland and Scotland which could track down. Pressure noticably lower with the high pressure falling into the continent. Max temp down three degrees to 21.

Sat: Any rain would be exceptionally minimal, so looks like a dry day so far. Pressure lower again, though. Temps down a degree to 20.

Sun: More troublesome band of rain than before, hitting in the small hours just after midnight. Heaviest (and I mean heaviest, not actually heavy) around 3am. Then very much lighter stuff all day until it clears at around 5pm. But still heavy stuff to the north of the UK. Temps much cooler, now at 17 from the 22 of earlier.

So... Not much rain, cooler temps dropped a bit from previously thought.

Fantastic. Thats all I want.

Netweather's midday update still is a thing of beauty, A lot of cloud early on, Things glorious from Mid Saturday afternoon through to the end of the festival.

Not a single mm of rain.

This is my official STICK for the day.

Metcheck was pretty bang on with when the bursts of heavier rain were coming through last year, so I'm inclined to have some faith in them.

I guess the issue here is predicting thin localised showers five days in advance is pretty much anyone's interpretation. Also forecasts will be quite conservative, 'just in case'.

That's beautiful. 2mm over the whole 5 days. Mostly overcast. Not too hot, not too cold.

I'm saving my Bobby Moore World Cup image, but he's getting ready.

It's not what you've done in the past that's the big problem here, it's your attitude towards it.

Ok my attitude may be wrong, its not to say I don't believe in recycling, just my age group wasn't brought up on it. No excuses though, at least I won't be leaving anything this year.

    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
