Don't count your chickens yet - this run has quite a wet SundayStill content enough with that... roll on the ensembles

The chickens are in the hutch. However, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it belts it down tomorrow, just to give some creedence to the forecasts (and to keep the dust down)

latest 06z ensembles out

graphe4_1000_227_164___.gif

looking pretty damn dry. There's three ensemble members who send the low further south and give us some wet, but nothing special and 3/20 means 15% chance which is happy enough.

Still keeping an eye on the atlantic low for the weekend, but it'd be a surprise now tbh

That's awesome actually. Although the are expecting some rain possibly Saturday and Sunday they don't really know at this stage. Looks as though it's quite windy then as well so hopefully the rain will be blown away quickly.

Could be like '99 then?  Lovely all the way through til rain Saturday afternoon and overnight, never enough to dampen spirits by that point as everyone was far too involved with enjoying a classic year (great crowd that year) to be bothered by a bit of weather.

This forecast has just got better and better for last 5 days, an Am rain shower to keep the dust down, plus a Am rain shower Monday just enough time for the ground to heal but soft enough for the pegs http://m.accuweather.com/en/gb/glastonbury/ba6-9/extended-weather-forecast/330614

The ground will be rock hard again by the time people are putting their tents up on Wednesday.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
