I have cdjs, 1210s and a full Traktor set up and by far the most fun to be had is on the 1210's, until you're drunk of course, then the midicontroller is an absolute life saver

The most fun you can have is definitely on the 1210's, especially if you are just throwing anything together. Not knowing what will work.

Have upped a few of my old mixes on the Kendall Calling thread. Warning these are years old but there are some good tunes on there. Bit of a mix of stuff from rave, piano house, breaks, Italian House and retro type stuff.

Still can't shake the feeling that Liam Howlett has just opened the folder on his laptop marked 'Smack my bitch up' and reused all the same samples - and then he has the cajones to say dance producers just rehash the same old stuff, laughable really

Was just thinking the same thing to be honest. I can't say either of the 2 new tunes have struck a chord with me. That new one just sounds like a racket. Not sure how you are supposed to dance to that. Got no groove what so ever.

Not all Electronic music is necessarily meant to be danced to. The Day is My Enemy has a mosh pit/head banging feel to it for me.

Whereas you play it the opposite way. You ponce around on boards like this, posing as someone who's opinion is worth an iota. You turn some poor innocent Scruffylovemonster onto some decent stuff like Stanley brinks and lucinda Williams. You then hang around other people's grateful dead threads, pretending to be enlightened and enthralled. People buy into you, think you're worth something. Even think you may have something worthwhile to say, then BAMM, you hit them with the vaccines and your true self is exposed.

Jesus, you're the music board equivalent of a sixty year old pretending to be a ten year old girl!! And should be dealt with accordingly.

Hahahahaha. I'm spitting tea here. All I can say is it was only a matter of time till I let you down. Be surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Im liking TDIME at the mo. Guttural. Primal. Crunchy. Loud. Obnoxious...............

The keyboard breakdown hit me as a bit naf at first, but it has softened to my ear after a few listens (it still stands out as the worst part of the track however).

If he fills this album with that attitude I will be happy enough, as it should be an album that allows anger its musical release and thats not a bad thing.

If you want a 2 and a half hour listen you could do worse than this mix BTW, if you have not done so already

    • Really well done, Primavera. Maybe the biggest name on the lineup as a surprise. (Ecpecially if Robert joins this)
    • There's one way it can get bigger- if Robert Smith joins her on stage
