I have to say talking of albums that have been released already from listening to a couple of tracks Σnter Shikari Mindsweep s produced very very well and a lot better than their other albums and the songs and ideas are very very exciting. Would love to see them for my 8th time if possible as soon as possible after listening to this new release.

Thought it was the worst album they've done in my opinion, couldn't get through it.

I'll always have fond teenage memories of Take To The Skies, but everything else they've done since has been progressively embarrassing. Not sure if it was always that dodgy and I was just too young to notice, but the music sounds more and more like an ill-judged mess and the Russell Brand level sociopolitical commentary is laughable.

i went back and listened to some of Take To The Skies not long ago thinking 'ah this'll be some nice nostalgia' but it's fucking shite. couldn't believe that i used to love it as much as i did. truly a band that could've only come to such prominence in the mid 00's. i'm surprised they've managed to stay so popular for so long

I love it! I think it is great, even though Take To The Skies is my favourite it is technically their best album (I'd say it is my 2nd favourite but we'll have to see if that sticks next year)

I love Take To The Skies and I think I will for a while. Listened to again not do long ago and the album intro made me all giddy and excited again! It is not the best album in the world but I love it and it makes my it near the top of my favourite albums lists just because of the enjoyment it brings to me

Beck's apparently releasing a new album this year (which was originally supposed to be released last year but oh well) so looking forward to that. supposed to be more upbeat than Morning Phase. get him to the farm

This is great news! Think he's due a Glastonbury visit so yes, please get him to the farm.

How did the news that Joanna Newsome has confirmed she's releasing this year pass me by? Fantastic news! I have noticed that at some point in the recent past Charli XCX has pushed the UK release of Sucker back to 16th Feb, why do you hate your homeland, Charli?

i love Charli XCX (and her new album's great) but it really seems like she's doing anything she can to be famous (having Rita Ora feature in her newest single, which was already on the album Ora-less - and the reason for the album delay - is just the latest of these)

If it's due in Autumn then I wouldn't expect them to do any festivals this summer, maybe headline a smaller one but that's about it. Are they too big for the likes of Kendall Calling now?

Kendal Calling is my big hope for seeing them outdoors this year. They would make ideal headliners for it.

Indeed, it does get on my nerves abit....but it is what it is now I guess. As long she carries on making fine tunes unlike Ellie Goulding she can do what she likes.

And keeps up the hawt videos :P

I'm loving the new Funkadelic album "First Ya Gotta Shake The Gate" their first since "Electric Spanking of War Babies" 33 years ago. 33 songs over 3 CDs, which may ring filler alarm bells, but it's surprisingly good. Apparently George Clinton also has a new Parliament album in the pipeline, "Medicaid Fraud Dogg".

Sherwood & Pinch "Late Night Endless" is the next new release I'm looking forward to in a couple of weeks.

Great news about East India Youth, his album last year shows a lot of promise in terms of making music, but I don't think he was quite there when it comes to putting an album together, I can definitely see him making something excellent at some point in his career.

Because Sucker bombed in the US I think she's afraid no one's gonna buy it here either, since she's technically bigger in US than here.
