Any chance on carola?? Would be the biggest announcement of the festival for me.

Would have to be Sunday as he'll be doing Music On Friday into sometime Saturday afternoon. So probably not likely he'll ever do Glasto while he's got that going on.

I think a 'Carl Cox appearance is pretty likely, John Rundell has confirmed and he is basically Coxys warm up DJ, also Nicole Moudaber often plays his nights in Ibiza so possibly a 'Carl Cox and friends' stage somewhere? I could see it on the Thursday night where SASHA did last year?

Well he's in Italy for the Saturday too so Sunday is the only real chance really. Imagine!

Would they give him a long enough set time though? It's normally 2 hours tops, he needs 3-4 hours to get a serious set going.

I think it's some kind of high wire trapeze act in the circus field! Not the DJs.

i just read a&b and peaked

it was only after i noticed the 'theatre and circus field' haha

    • Sure enough I did finish the Brosnan Bonds. Goldeneye is good but I think might be overrated by some Bond mega-fans, The World Is Not Enough is ok but nothing more than that and Die Another Day is just wild. I didn't hate Die Another Day like some have but its basically a wacky sci-fi film with Bond movie clothes.
    • Monaco comes across to me as something that's great for just watching people driving around, especially this year as it feels like this is a track where they can actually push compared to other circuits where superclipping ruins it, but where the cars seem to have outgrown it.   Though tbf Formula E has had decent Monaco races recently so maybe its a sign of car development philosophy being a factor.
    • Feel like a lot of people do just sit around by the stage at a festival waiting for one act anyway, no? I know Swift has a big mega-fandom - she wouldn't have done so many Wembley shows last year if she didn't - but it's not like she'd be unique in playing a festival and drawing a crowd on that specific day just for her.   But then tbf I feel like there'd be a few happy just to mosy around the rest of the site until maybe 2/3 acts beforehand.
    • Pretty good imo. Though I'm aware my position of being a big fan means I'm biased.   Reminds me a little of Justice, which shouldn't be that much of a surprise given I've heard Justice played a lot in Muse's pre-show playlists over the years.
