well .... that obviously wasn't true, then.Someone gave me some info - he shall remain nameless but he walks amongst us :P - which said there would be an announcement tonight at 10pm. There were good reasons to give this info some belief (I wouldn't have spent the night surfing the web) but I had no way of knowing whether it was really true.So there you go. Soz.

Do you think this persons information could still be correct and that its just been pushed back to tomorrow morning?

I'll take the flack and say it was me who told Neil about a possible announcement tonight.

But what you have to remember these were Michael's words.

You were right in 2013 to be fair. What did he say?

What were his exact words?

Maybe he's aware of an announcement "tonight" and it just means midnight or something

Or it's been moved to tomorrow

It wasn't me who was there but a friend of mine so i don't know every detail but they were aiming for tonight but it was very complicated. 10pm as a time was mentioned.

Complicated?

Fair play for owning up... seems like the pub Facebook post, that other kid on twitter who got a selfie with Michael, maybe they were true?.... maybe Michaels having a great laugh just going round saying 'tonight'

Interesting.... 'aiming', 'complicated' etc. probably explains why it didn't happen tonight but definitely suggests soon is a real possibility.

To be fair I think it was you who called it in 2013 wasn't it? Or something along those lines! So don't worry about it!

It might help to think of this as a sort of group therapy rather than as a source of news.

If anyone is viewing this thread as a source of news they might want to rethink their decision making processes.

There was more chance of finding out what the fuck is going on in Fortitude than there was a 10pm announcement.

Still no clue. Flies for fuck's sake!

Anyhoo... For the record, I own 3 Hootie albums and have seen them live. Great band.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
