In 'This is It' the Jacko live experience is very much a production, with every song having fresh costumes, sets, choreography etc. Logistically I just can't see it working as a one-off. He never was the one to just turn up with a four-piece backing band and run through a spontaneous set.

I still regret not getting the 'I was at Glasto when Jacko died' T-shirt.

There's nothing sadder than watching a legend who is clearly no longer up to it. James Brown's set in 04 was one of the saddest gigs I've ever seen.

I got that feeling last year when I saw the Pogues support Libertines at Hyde Park. As soon as Shane bumbled on, I couldn't say anything out of shock.

The band are still tight as ever tho, but yea, Shane was Plastered and you couldnt understand a word. However they did pick up a rather dull day up to that point. Everyone was up dancing when they came on!

From reading quite a lot on the subject, it seems to be Marr who is against the idea of the Smiths reforming. I think Morrisey would agree to playing with Marr again in a heartbeat. Whether that also include Joyce and Rourke is anyone's guess.

I do honestly believe Marr and Morrisey will play together on stage again at some point.

i believe Marr and Morrissey don't have much of a problem with each other, it's the hangover from that court case 25 years ago that is preventing any reunion. I think Morrissey would be loathed to hand them any more money!
