Am I the only person in the world not that fussed anymore by the Stone Roses? I would rather have something new. Now I feel like a heretic.

Nah, me too. It'd be a popular choice, no mistake, but I just can't get excited about the Roses now, 20 years on. I dunno, the thougth of seeing them just doesn't light my fire. And y'know I love that album, I've probably played it every week or two for the last 25 years, it's absolutely ingrained in me. But can't see me in the Pyramid Field getting a feeling of anticipation about them coming on stage.

Have no idea what this means but does this mean the blagger just had his pants pulled down?

Yeah I know, my husband would be there, arms aloft and singing but am kind of over it like an indie disco. He'll talk me round though.

hahaha, yeah, that's exactly what it will be.

its genuine. I'm literally sat here laughing at people suggesting its fake haha

The way you just wrote that suggests to me you aren't genuine and are trying too hard to appear you are.

Emphasising you're 'genuinely laughing' with a 'ha ha'. Rubbish.

You're trolling genuinely upsets me boo hoo.

As mentioned above it means he's lying. In Photoshop you can get information about any picture file - I copied & pasted what part of the results were for the screenshot he posted the link for & he's 100% used Photoshop.

Maybe the geezer just didn't want to stick a load of money on it?

I see no reason to discredit what Big Vern said and he's not a new poster with a Madchester related username or anything. Plus there are a couple more that reckon it's the Roses so I wouldn't reckon it's off the table because of a falsified betting slip just yet.

I'm with you. Their last album was 21 years ago. Headliners at Glastonbury shouldn't be nostalgia acts with no recent material.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
