I really hope this is true - as I want to be anywhere else but the Pyramid and don't want someone I 'must see' being there now AC/DC are ruled out.

The harsh fact is that the demographic has changed enormously. The festival was always more female friendly than others but it is now at least a 50/50. I'd say at leaat 40% of attendees are women under 30.The Beyonce crowd really brought it home to me. I was at Spirit of 71 and when her set ended all we could see were thousands of women in wellies walking past for bloody ages. It was a sight to behold! This is Taylor's core audience at the moment so she would pull a very big crowd.I know I'm an exception but then I saw Kylie Last October within weeks of following Hawkwind around Cornwall.

An unbelievable post initally,i knew the the term was/is used in regards to Spurs, and think that too is fucking dreadful. I can't agree with the appropriation of these terms as a way to fight racism really Jono,i've heard the neanderthal chants gloating about how "Hitler's going to do them again" too.
