Haha yeah it's on the right hand said as you look down hidden the bushes.

I trekked up there to see who was playing that night just before Courtney Barnett on my own.

2 Bears were suppose to be playing but no one was in there. But some one was DJing, Alexis Taylor was setting up so I

just sat down and chilled out looking over the site.

Then the rest of hot chip turned up.

Queue me sat there a bit baffled as to what was going on as Hot Chip danced about.

Did hot chip actually play that night? I was in the area at the time, didn't know they were around but read on here after that someone had seen the members heading that way. Always wondered...

This about 3 in the afternoon on the Friday, I don't think they did, the new build part of the band were all dressed like normal glastonbury goers. Walking boots and all. Plus It wasn't on the board. We went back up at night to watch TOY

Stanton Warriors have just updated their cover photo on facebook to pic of them taken from spirit of 71 stage in 2013. I'm taking that as self confirmation!

Just been listening to their podcast, I hope they are back.

Steve Hillage has confirmed that he and Miquette are NOT playing this year. This was in response to a question posted on Facebook earlier. They are ,however, playing Sunrise, Boomtown and a festival in Wimborne on the May Day Bank Holiday

Oh, cheers. Someone suggested they were about later on the Saturday... may not be true though.

    • Yep, honestly this seems like the most likely option right now.
    • Agree. Also there was a lot more crossing over between stages. I know they need to put the cure, the xx and Gorillaz on the main stages but if they could have put your Blood Orange, Big Thief, Baxter Dury on Cupra and Occident with Jade and Pinkpantheress on the main stages, it would have been a massive improvement.
    • 100% THIS! I haven't quite been able to put my finger on it, but I think you've just nailed why I didn't enjoy this year as much as usual. In last years edition, the likes of Slowdive or Big Thief would have had evening slots at Cupra or Occident, instead of being shoved on to the main stages during the day. Apart from the very biggest acts (ie The Cure, the pop headliners), most performances at Mordor just lack that special "wow, I'm so lucky to be here" feeling that I remember from the Jesus Lizard and Anhoni sets that you've mentioned.  Sidenote: I wonder if there's a decent chunk of ticket holders that gravitate towards Mordor simply because it's the biggest stage, without really caring who's playing at that time, thus the increased (and incredibly noticeable) yapping.
    • Some horrible talkers around me as well for that one. Plus the mobile beer taps pressing through almost all the way to the front, which really should be illegal.
