I'm getting far too excited about this. When is it likely there'd be an announcement? I was under the impression we're still a good couple of months away from the official headliner confirmations.

yep I agree with you, the TV coverage would do him more good than any other recent headliner I can think of.

I just get the impression (from uber-prince fans I've spoken too) that he'd just dismiss the whole thing out of hand.

He played with Beyonce last year, she's an advocate for Glastonbury. Stevie Wonder also had a blast, they're definitely in communication. There are others. Prince is a law unto himself, he's only going to do what he wants to do, and the only way he'll do it is if these type of people mention it to him. I reckon that's the only thing that could get him there.

Gut feeling, if it doesn't happen this year, it'll never happen.
