Sunday Legend

Dolly Parton. Kenny R will have been onto the blower to her. Or at least their respective managers will have spoken about all the publicity he got from it. He was all over the telly etc both before and after.

Aye I think Dolly is the next logical person, in interviews after he said he loved it, I think Dolly would be quite good

I've been on about this idea since I saw Howard Shore do the LOTR Symphony. A good few years back. Soz.

Did you go to Albert Hall tribute last year..? It was amazeballs. The advantage of it being at Glastonbury would be that we could all sing along. I wouldnt mind an afternoon hour of film music generally with some visuals. Would probably cost them a fortune though. And maybe its a bit too Larmer Tree or Latitude.

Has Santana ever played?

heard kate bush today think she would be great as a late afternoon gig old sons

I may be misjudging this, but the live return of Kate Bush would be a MASSIVE deal. Nothing less than Other Stage headliner. I could even see them putting her headlining on the Pyramid once they've got through all the boring old rock bands from the list on the fridge.

I've said it every year it would be awesome to see her live (and probably the only way to get my dad to the festival ) but she hates touring, the only tour she's ever done a roadie fell down a trap door and she's never toured since...

... her most recent album was a pile of crap too

Ringo Starr and His All-Star Band

Patti Smith

James Taylor (w/ or w/o Caroel King)

someone mentioned Tina Turner and that's a good shout.

The Sunday legend slot is almost as intriguing/important to me as the 3 headliners. I do put a lot of hope into it as we dream up the lineup each year, perhaps too much. Ray Davies was such a welcome surprise back in 2010 especially as a lot of us had to miss his (apparently great) '09set in the Acoustic tent due to the N. Young clash. When you think of 2010 actually, Eavis did well in giving us Sunday legend-capable artists each day on Pyramid w/ Jackson Browne (sat) and Willie Nelson (fri), and....even Snoop on the friday too.

Manilow or Cliff would be a dream for me, a very bad one! True nightmare.

Dolly would be awesome, Slade would be bostin fun, someone mentioned Donna summer which would be awesome except that she would have to be in the dark or how about Van morrison?

James Taylor is a superb shout.

Whilst Jackson Browne (the 15 minutes I saw - it was far too hot) was one of the most surprisingly enjoyable shows Ive seen in that early afternoon spot, Willie Nelson was absolute bongwater.

Isn't she dead?
