Peter Gabriel's tour ends on May 25th, so they would still be well enough rehearsed enough to play.

Doing the whole of "So" .

Possibly "Mercy Street" with Elbow perhaps ,plus maybe some stuff from " And i'll scratch yours" ,.

“Games Without Frontiers” with Arcade Fire ?

Exactly. Why should Metallica, a massive band with loads of successful albums be other and Kasabian be headlining? True - I don't like their full of themselves attitude that they will settle for headliner and nothing else. They aren't that amazing to be like that and it's a massive turn off for me. They have some good songs I agree but their attitude stinks if what they said was true about demanding to be top. It shouldn't really matter and shouldn't be a make or break on whether they play Glastonbury or not

Kasabian haven't been contacted about performing at all, according to this. I'd have thought Senior Eavis would have at least contacted the band by this point if they were serious contenders to headline, or even as a fall-back, surely.

I have a funny feeling it's going to be Arcade Fire, Kanye West & Prince. I'd be really happy with that.

I would froth at the mouth, a trinity like that is wasted on the grubby sponges that camp all day at the Pyramid. Secret sets on Williams Green I say!

In all seriousness, what a startlingly great set of headliners that would be, simply too good to be true.

Out of the last 6, I wouldn't have elected to buy a ticket to a solo gig by any single one of them. The Stones are a special case, I wouldn't pay out the nose for a ticket to see them at some bollocks arena or field down in that London just so Mick can buy a new drug yacht, but them at Glastonbury really felt like an event, the very last word in massive shows. The rest of them however, I wouldn't count as anything special, Arctic Monkeys were alright, but I do regret not choosing Portishead, I probably would have got some enjoyment out of Beyonce if I'd gone though *runs for cover*.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
