Im not surprised to see Liverpool win, but didn't see it being this easy. Disappointed to see Sturridge diving, he doesnt need to cheat to beat this man utd team. Am I imagining things or have Liverpool had loads more penalties than anyone else this season? Not suggesting luck or bias, as most have seemed fair enough, I'm sure gerrard doesnt mind the chance to get his goals up this season. Interestingly if the 3rd had gone it, it may have been the first penalty hat trick I have seen.

These fairweather man utd fans should be ashamed of themselves leaving en masse before the game has finished. Talk about deserting your team as soon as the chips are down. Taking losses on.the chin.is what the rest of us football fans have been doing for years

Nah. Last week was hailed as "performance of the season" by Utd. I've been watching them for nearly 30 years and have scarcely seen a more headless defensive performance from them. Really shocking actually. They are fucking abysmal.

Not to rub salt in the wound but Fellaini is 30 million pounds of dogshit.

Utd must be utterly -shell shocked- after that btw. Can't see Moyes lasting if they go out of the CL on Wed and then get pasted by Citeh. It has an air of inevitability bout it. Where's this boost Mata was supposed to have given them fr'instance? Moyes looks bereft.

The belief isn't there because it's a team who have been used to winning. The loss of confidence is going to hit much much harder than it would for others.

There's only so much you can do about that, especially when the players at your disposal are hardly world beaters anyways.

"Our Hodgeson" is how a longtime Utd pal of mine described it. Moyes is fucking it up *royally*. So bad that he could actually cock it up for his inevitable replacement. Long may it continue. League miles better this year as a result.

I said yesterday that there shouldn't be any pressure on Liverpool. I hope the people who. disagreed can see why now.

United had so much riding on this game, for Liverpool, why was there any pressure. So many teams have gone to OT and beaten them this season, it's not a fortress, understandably, all Liverpool had to do was play their normal game and they'd win, there was so much more pressure on United.

United, well. lets see their fans stay loyal. Great effort by Liverpool, they won't win the league imho, but they're in excellent form at the moment.

    • Either or. They both play the same venues.

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.
