I.sometimes think coutinho hasn't always got the credit he deserves this season. While there is plenty of energy and drive in the midfield, I feel he is the one with a bit of class that adds something a bit different.

he's a good player - one of Liverpool's better ones overall - but his form has definitely dipped recently.

Perhaps he needs a spell out of the team to rejuvenate. It seemed to work with Sterling.

I don't think we change much. I think we try and score one more until the end of the season and see what happens. Maybe Lucas comes in v Chelsea and City.

If we do get top 4, I think FSG go for it. The club will be pretty stable soon - the accounts seem to show that Hicks & Gillet disaster caused even more damage than everyone believed at the time but we are finally emerging from the problems.

When people wonder about what the difference has been with Chelsea and the rest, you can probably put it solely down to Matic. The attacking players have been playing with so much more freedom since he slotted into the side. You can see why as well.

first time i have been able to talk about football this week.. still gutted about Wembley, we gave it everything and they were just the better team :( however a chance to get back there today at Hull (which im currently on route too) massive game after the last two falures against steve bruce et al.

I'm rooting for Sheffield United on the way forward, but I don't think they get past Hull, who have looked solid against inferior opposition.

Superb for Wigan today, and also a wee note for Albion Rovers who went to Ibrox and drew 1-1 with the zombie version of Rangers.

If arsenal can't win silverware this season, they should give up!

It looks like it's a gift, but so did their league cup final against Brum. And last year, City thought they had a bye in the final, and it appears that they thought similar yesterday.

We all know that any team can lose any individual game, so no one should be daft enough to make comments like that.

Great buzz around Hull yesterday and today, many people getting rather excited about a wembley trip, although I wont be going, I think having the semis there cheapens the final. I may go to the final if we get past Sheffield, but its not the end of the world if I dont.

Hilarious article in the Mail about how unfair it is that United won't be in Champions league next year

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2578095/Manchester-United-belong-Champions-League-not-Europa-League-ADRIAN-DURHAM.html

'Instead, they should follow through with the idea mooted last week –United should set up a series of friendlies against top European sides through the course of the campaign.

I would be surprised if these games didn’t attract bigger crowds than Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool get for proper Champions League ties next season.'

'United belong in Europe's elite and it's almost unfair that because of a change of manager, and a tricky transition, they will be denied Champions League football. It's equally unfair that the Champions League will be without United, one of the biggest clubs in the world, and one of the biggest draws in Europe.'

well, like a mug I read it, and I can't think I've ever seen such an obvious bit of click-bait.

After all, how could they be serious about it being "unfair" that Utd aren't successful in the same article where there's a subheading which says "Some Arsenal fans have forgotten the meaning of the word 'success'".

    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
    • There is also a solid argument from Seventeen already that not enough people actually care if they book them also.
