Glad this has got bumped, now won't be arriving until Thursday evening so a little worried about space. Planning to head to Wicket Ground as I will have my 10 year old daughter with me for her first Glastonbury, hopefully there will still be space even on Thursday evening? After reading what @Supernintendo Chalmershas said about Darble starting to feel slightly less concerned, may even just go with Darble.

What have you done to get ready for Glastonbury 24 ?
Essex_George replied to Crazyfool01's topic in Chat
You can purchase a little ground sheet type thing that attaches to the bottom that stops any kind of sinking, with or without the stoppers still attached... https://amzn.eu/d/3fngnct -
And he isn't even the biggest c**t in his family.

Worthy View, Sticklinch, Tipis and campervans 1st Dec 12.00
Essex_George replied to sedra's topic in Chat
Showing as only car park tickets for WV now and Sticklinch, but campervan tickets for east quiet and general are still available. -
Perfect, thanks both.

Taking my Daughter for first time next year, will only be the two of us so not needing a massive space or anything. I was thinking of Worthy View or Sticklinch but I don't fancy paying those prices! We will probably arrive Thursday late morning so assume Cockmill family camping will be full by then, Wickets still OK at that time of arrival?

Why did I go out last night. I've got a good tip, don't be badly hungover on ticket day!

I signed up to Tidal via Argentina a few months ago, just got the dreaded email saying my subscription has been cancelled due to non payment. Assume that's it now and the game is up?

Watched the set on iPlayer yesterday, not really feeling it. Those that were at Bicep last year and at Fred this year, which was better?

How amazing does the site look at the moment on the webcam. All those thousands of people about to have an absolutely superb few days. Lucky buggers!

All awful alternatives. I go to Glastonbury to get away from the family.

Looks like a bit of rain about on site at the moment, would still love to be there though!

Really gutted not to be there again, didn't try for tickets this year so it's my own fault. Didn't think I would be too bothered but the build up on here and watching a few of the BBC documentaries last few days really hammered home how much I'm going to miss not being there.

It's a shit line-up, but I'm not going this year so I would say that!
-
Can't miss that!

I'm slightly hungover this morning and reading this thread hasn't helped, will there be a flag at the meet or not?!

Don't think Austria will win

Agree, horrible things. I was only joking about having one, a mate years a go at reading had one every morning cold straight out of the can.

Can't go wrong with this....

I know you are Scottish but what you call sunny is very different to mine!

2009 first one for me, remember seeing Neil Young headline on the Friday which blew me away. Blur on Sunday not bad either, but what else I saw I'm struggling with. Even looking back at the lineup isn't helping much, haven't a clue how anyone who went in the 80's or 90s remember anything. Wish I had gone to earlier ones though, the 90's Glastonbury's sound like a lot of fun.

Loved that, even spotted you! Doesn't matter how many times you go it's still a magical place.
