Lyenn not self confirmed, just some assumptions thae he will be playing as he is the sub for Mark Lanegan on the rest of his tour. No guarantee though.

Actually the poster does say Lyenn is playing Glasto (and that, e.g., both he and the other tour support Duke Garwood are playing Rock Werchter). As Lyenn is Lanegan's bass player, it does make sense.

Ah, so it does. I hadn't noticed the * and + mularky. Definitely playing then.

Added to Glastonbury 2017 (Spotify) the latest flurry of SRs from Neil's Other Stage tip-offs: Justice, Stormzy, and Cabbage.

Not Liam Gallagher though.  His solo stuff isn't out yet, we can't say what he'd play, and it just feels wrong to stick the original Oasis (or even Beady Eye) versions on there.  I'm open to persuasion though!

Glastonbury 2017 (Spotify) now updated with the self-confirmed Grupo Canalon de Timbiqui, and Duncan Disorderly & The Scallywags; new TBC Toots & The Maytals; new SRs Barry Gibb and Brian Wilson; Apollo Junction following @Little Andy's tip, and Whitney after their response to @Cieran's Reddit question.

I've not added Felix Dickinson though.  I think, to keep it manageable, I'm going to leave out DJs (apart from any playing the major stages).  Might be a good idea for someone to start up a separate Glastonbury DJs playlist?

Added to Glastonbury 2017 (Spotify) are new SR the Jacksons and @dentalplan's latest self-confirmation finds United Vibrations and Afriquoi.  Also updated Bonobo based on a recent DJ set of his - might be different stuff live but thought it was worth having some of the much-praised new album on there.

And cheers @baggienick68!

Glastonbury 2017 (Spotify) updated with recent self-confirmations New York Brass Band, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Baskery and Gaudi, TBCs London Grammar, Solange, Skepta and SR Galaxians. They're flooding in!

Will be thrilled if British Sea Power are confirmed!

They almost certainly will be, 'twas on Radio 6.

Latest updates to Glastonbury 2017:

  • Removed Brian Wilson (as Neil says he thinks "probably" neither he nor the Beach Boys will be there)
  • Updated Bonobo (again)
  • Added self-confirmations October Drift, Honeyfeet and Rodney Branigan
  • Added new TBC BadBadNotGood
  • Took a punt on tour dates (because they're ace) and added Real Estate

@eFestivals Just an idea. But would it be possible to add 'Self Confirmed' to the rumoured lineup key. I guess it would go between Officially Confirmed and TBC. It would mean I could bulk out my Spotify playlist with some more stuff other than Foos, Radiohead and KK. :)

    • 2 really good albums IMO. Fun, really good musicians, energetic, can dance to it.    I'd take that over the couple of dozen twee ernest singer songwriter 2 chord dross acts on the bill most years.
    • They will have strictly 14 days to comply, at the end of which they will strictly have another 14 days to comply.
    • Bonobo has a new album out in September.  Touring the US the end of this year, so hopefully UK dates and festivals in 2027.  Would make a superb Park headliner.
    • I was following up to pink_triangle's post about what Reform are saying they will do to find money for defence spending.   But with Labour, they may well water down or delay some of the net zero commitments, they may find ways to cut welfare spending with Pat McFadden's welfare review thing, but I don't think it's going to be near enough. They really tied themselves down with the tax commitments in their manifesto, just reversing Hunt's NI cuts would have gone a long way. Under Burnham I think they may try and reform some of the tax system, land taxes and levies etc. Certainly needs reforming. But that might all be after a general election if Labour were to win.  I reckon they will try and do something with fiscal rules to borrow more, and try and persuade markets to go along with them.  (and he's already rowed back on that waspi thing...I think his team and others in Labour had a word).
