So do we know the current ground conditions? You would hope they made use of the long run of good weather and got a lot done, so that they could do less movements now and limit ground damage during the rain. But maybe that's just my thinking,

IOW was 4 seasons in a weekend last year - torrential rain mixed with dancing in the sun to Madness on sat pm - rain again for PJ that evening. And sun again on the sunday for Noel & Bruce

The field where i take my dogs each day is about 25 miles north of Glastonbury.

After a fair amount of rain yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised that the ground was bone dry this morning.

I'm optimistic that, if we get a few hours of dry daylight most days, plus the inevitable torrential downpour or two (it is Britain in June after all), then we can avoid a repeat of the lead-up to 2011 (or worse), and have a m*d-free weekend with plenty of
