abdoujaparov
I didn't say it to piss you off or otherwise. Just felt like expressing how I hate it when people express an opinion, then put 'fact' after it it reminds me of when kids used to write John loves Mary... TRUE! oh, it must be then....... Gnomicide
Looking back at the original post, the OP was looking for some credible albums so that rules out loads of my favourites so I'll go for this masterpiece... Jane's Addiction - Nothing's Shocking. It took a bit of arguing with myself but I finally settled on that one over Ritual De Lo Habitual. Having said that, I'm off to put on Three Days - 10:49 of bliss.

davefrompompey
Whoever said Bring It On by Gomez is a good shout. I'm surprised not to see anyone mention Elliott Smith here - most people seem to think XO is his best, but I'd go for Either/Or I think. tjamest
At work at the moment, but will definitely give it a listen this evening as its right in the middle of his Bless the Weather, Solid Air, Inside Out period when he really embraced the Echoplex like no one else before or since. The Nal
Still haven't indulged really. Know nothing about him. Himself and Nine Inch Nails are very much on my immediate to-do list.
eFestivals
thanks Nal - tho for anyone familiar with Solid Air, it's a track they already pretty much know. You really should give JM a listen. Forget about NIN.

eFestivals
Ah ok cool. Just saw "previously unheard". Always grabs my attention.i'd guess it is 'previously unheard', but as the text on that page says it's a song that ended up on Solid Air in a changed form - so if you like, it's a demo version of a song that's on Solid Air.It was worth the listen anyway, so thanks. Ive plenty of time for both!maybe, but only one is worth your time.

dancelittleliar
Some obvious ones no-one's mentioned - Ziggy Stardust (though Station To Station is probably my favourite Bowie, and lesser known), Remain In Light by Talking Heads, Closer by Joy Division and Idiot by Iggy Pop. Agaetis Byrjun by Sigur Ros, Odelay by Beck, Bon Iver, Amnesiac by Radiohead and College Dropout by Kanye are worth shouts for some of my favourites of all time. The list changes every day though so I couldn't possibly give you a top 10 I'm happy with
