Yeah, there's a lot to what you say, Wooderson, I listen to oldeer bands now that i wouldn't have given houseroom to back then, I guess that's a good thing, but I'm not entirely convinced about it. The Feelgoods are really good example of a band I only came to recently, in the last few years. Same, in all honesty with Bowie and pretty much a whole raft of late 60s-mid 70s stuff. But I'm kind of delighted I spent my youth dancing around like a tit to bands who disappeared into obscurity rather than listening to my parents record collection. You're right, there's time for that later. Youth is for getting smashed in the park on cheap lager, middle age is for sitting at home investigating aged whisky. And then going to the park with cheap lager.

I meant that in '92 when I was 15 I wasn't interested in investigating their back catalogue.

C**ts may be a bit harsh on them personally, but they are pretty much a marketing excercise. They should have been left alone to tour shitty venues and develop their sound, fall out with each other, replace a member, etc. Rather than being pushed forward now.

I get the impression they're starting to believe the marketing hype themselves now as well.

Van Morrison (he's the toss of a coin live but his albums were magnificently crafted),

Love (small collection but tracks like The Castle and 7&7 is)

The Doors

Jefferson Airplane (The Worst of Jefferson Airplane is probably a good album to start)

And does anyone remember the Rock Machine collection of samplers produced by CBS in the late 60s?. An introduction to West Coast music at its best.

Do like a few Garnier tracks and had that album (along with others) that not bothered to listen to. Just now listened, I really like the track first reaction and the different version on this album is a good alternative, thanks for making me make the time. Sounds like a good album to my ears.

Public Outburst and Unreasonable Behaviour are the ones I previously listened to the most.

Anyway, makes a change from a lot of the crusty stuff being discussed here.
