I'd Be up for Cardiff, strange it's not the millennium stadium though, its bigger and its weatherproof. Bon jovi doing Cardiff city's ground as well so I guess Wru are pricing too high for renting it

It might be because the CCS doesn't have any income apart from Cardiff City playing there now. Couple of Summer concerts per year are an easy way to balance the books.

I hope that Bruce doesn't play in any case, he wouldn't be an inspired choice and if they are going to book previous headliners then I would perfer it if they looked further back than 2009.

I hope he doesn't play because I know that if he does and I watch him he'll be as dour as last time and if I don't watch him he'll be brilliant so I'd rather avoid the disappointment either way!

Bruce at Glastonbury completely changed my opinion of him, he was brilliant, would deffinatly like him back.

Bit soon to see Bruce again but he was brilliant in 2009 and I'm not sure I'd want to see him without Clarence... though the Wrecking Ball stuff would be good to hear live. BTW, I'm no huge Bruce fan; didn't know a song for about an hour in 09 but he was so mesmerising with his songs having so much to say, it didn't bother me a bit.

I thought he was great first time, I only knew about 3 of his songs and he didn't play one of them. He did play Coma Girl though, that won me over quite a lot. And though I say he was great I did wander off to the cider bus for half an hour or so in the middle.

Please not again! I will never get that time back. I was half way up the field and after an hour a lot of people were moaning and leaving because he was playing to a bruce springsteeen audience as opposed to a festival audience. More hits and I would have stayed.

As a Bruce fan saw the 09 on tv and enjoyed it but he could have done more hits. Saw him for the 5th time at the IoW Festival and was the best show of his I've seen - if he did that at Glastonbury it would have been epic.

He was good in 09 but probably too much of his new stuff to attract a casual fan. In iow this year he played more hits and seemed to have more energy if that's possible. You can't deny he's in good shape for his age. Did some 4hr shows on this tour

The story goes that Bon Jovi had to settle for CCS as the Millennium Stadium is already booked by another act. Difficult to believe that there would be two shows on the same day - more likely a block booking of a number of days to allow for erecting and dismantling of stage.

Agree with this. Although I'm part of the "Bruce Springsteen audience" I thought he should've just banged out the hits. All of them. The album he was touring at the time was pretty weak.

Don't think he'll be back either. Too soon. And I think hes too American for Glastonbury anyway.

I assumed last time it was just me being a music dullard that meant I didn't enjoy his last appearance. It may well still be the case of course but I'd give him another go just to be sure!

Interesting to read the views of people that have seen him at other festivals since 2009 and feel that he learnt from the experience.
