FloorFiller
ha, Sheryl Crow that's a pretty good setlist (well... the two out of the norm songs they played are pretty damn good ones and i'd enjoy seeing them at Glastonbury) nice to see Mick being utilised more and more. i'm sure we'll see something similar at Glastonbury
CaledonianGonzo
Sheryl Crow was always going to show up at some point. She's pretty good mates with Keith and Ronnie.

Gnomicide
Shine a Light would be excellent. As would an appearance by Sheryl Crow.

I've no idea. Who sung gimme shelter on the sheryl crow night?
CaledonianGonzo
Dunno. I'm only vaguely aware of her in connection to tabloid gossip and so on. I think Lisa Fischer has been singing Gimme Shelter for the whole tour so far.
GlastoSimon
Jesus, I desperately hope Glastonbury doesn't get a 'modern' special guest, though I bet we do.

LondonTom
I just saw Angie was in the setlist on May 25th in Toronto! Good to see it's there as part of the songs they have to pick from for Glastonbury Edited June 3, 2013 by LondonTom

russycarps
Have we all come to terms with the fact that emotional rescue is going to be played at glastonbury yet?
CaledonianGonzo
That above is a 2.5 hour show and I doubt they'll do that long at Glasters. I think that, as a minimum, ER and One More Shot won't survive the edit.

mozzy
I reckon there's a good chance of them getting allocated something close to 2 1/2 hours. Springsteen & Neil Young both got longer than usual slots and given that ME has had the Stones on his dream wish list from before they released Sticky Fingers they surely must be in line for similar treatment. Brave Sir Robin
Just read the 20 pages on the Stones in this month's Mojo to ramp up the excitement levels. A good read. MT's is a strange story, with what now seems a reasonably happy ending. Sounds as if Sway is his favourite, so he'll have loved that the other night. Some interesting comments from Keef on how it's the audience reaction that makes each show different. Wait til they meet us!

CaledonianGonzo
MT's is a strange story, with what now seems a reasonably happy ending. Seems like going into rehab was a precondition for joining them on this tour, and you can see the difference it's made even in 6 months. Lost weight and looking a lot healthier - as you say, a happy ending. They all look in pretty reasonable nick, actually. Even Keith - he (understandably) looked pretty ill during a lot of the Bigger Bang tour.

Should be quite different to what they're used to.

russycarps
You can set your watch by Russy can't you? :-) Actually, in fairness the crowds were pretty decent in 2000. Make that 13 years too late!
The Nal
they're 15 years too late if they wanted a decent crowd Think it could be the biggest crowd in the history of the festival. I dunno, arent chase and status popular with the yoof? And bootleg beatles always get a vast crowd! Plus public enemy will pull a crowd I STILL reckon mumfords will win the biggest crowd prize, to go along with worst ever headliner Edited June 4, 2013 by russycarps
