Pretty much confirms MBV as Transmission headliners, which is like their equivalent of the FR Stage is it not? Still find it silly that they weren't booked for R&L.

I'm hoping they wont clash with anybody and will be on in the 30 minute gap setting up Green Day's stage .

If Green Day get 2 hours+ then I assume they'll clash with them

But but but Smashing Pumpkins! Loads of people on the Glasto forums going nuts over the Nick Cave / Pumpkins clash.

Public Image Limited and Vampire Weekend leading into Editors / Pumpkins / xx for me if the clashfinder is to be believed too .

I just wish Crystal Castles weren't clashing with a higher priority band for the fourth consecutive festival I've attended .

Errr...may have gone slightly off topic here. So...does anyone think the new Lock Up / Rock announcements (assuming we get Rock Stage announcements Tuesday too) will all be below the bands currently there? I'm guessing it's unlikely enough will be added above them to get Gallows out of the way of NIN and FOB? :/

I'm assuming the point is the exclusivity meant R&L couldn't book them when they would've wanted to, and now there's no real MBV shaped slots left.

I'm half considering seeing Nine Inch Nails in Belfast but the travel costs are about £100 which is about the same as if I wanted to see them in Italy. Ridiculous.

Don't know if this has been posted but Green Day have been playing Dookie almost in full in all their current shows. They are playing far too much of their dire Uno Dos Tre albums too though

Probably not but they said it's their 20th year as a band so they might do some special intimite venues or something.

They said they might do Absolution in full sometime this year as they really enjoyed doing OoS in full but i doubt it
